우선 곳곳에서 기업가 정신을 펼치기 위해 애쓰시는 창업가 및 창업준비를 희망하는 여러분께 따뜻한 격려를 보냅니다. 구글과 구글의 창업지원 파트너쉽인 Up Global 에서는 함께 창업에 대한 소중한 의견을 나누고 창업지원 연구성과를 공유할 수 있는 소통의 장인 Up Global Roundtable을 서울에서 개최하게 되었습니다.
Up Global은 2013년 Startup Weekend 와 Startup America가 통합하면서 생겨난 창업지원 단체로써, 현재 31만명 이상이 Up Global 의 도움을 받아 창업에 성공하였거나, Up Global의 창업지원 활동에 적극 참여하고 있습니다. 세계적으로 창업과 기업가 정신을 육성하는데 매우 큰 의미가 있는 이번 행사를 한국에서 개최하면서, 여러 실력있는 패널들을 초대하여 Up Global의 연례 연구논문인 Whitepaper에 소개된 창업의 핵심요소 5가지를 주제로 스타트업 및 기업가 정신에 대한 열띤 토론을 나눌 예정입니다. 또한, 여러 창업가들의 네트워크 장을 마련하여 서로의 아이디어와 의견을 교환함으로써 국내 및 세계의 창업가 정신을 복돋우고 창업을 지원하는 성과를 이루고자 합니다.
뜨거운 창업열기로 가득 채워질 이번 Up Global Roundtable은 세계 창업환경 및 창업에 중요한 요소들에 대한 소중한 의견을 나눌 수 있는 자리일 뿐 아니라, 국내 및 세계에서 왕성하게 활동하고 있는 4개 스타트업의 소중한 경험 및 통찰을 배울 수 있는 소중한 기회가 될것입니다.

We invite all of you to a roundtable discussion at 3pm on Friday, December 5 at Maru180.
Up Global, supported by Google, recently published a paper which outlines five key policy areas that are critical for a successful startup ecosystem. It also provides recommendations for policymakers who are looking to grow their startup scene and case studies of successful policies from a variety of markets.
In this event, you can exchange fun ideas and discuss the key policy areas that entrepreneurs should focus on which are covered in detail in the paper published by Up Global earlier this quarter. We will have leaders from all over the world as our panelists and we expect that the discussion between leaders in the Korean startup community will provide the audience and participants valuable insights in nurturing an entrepreneurial spirit. Furthermore, with anchorwoman Ms. Young-Eun Yang participating as the moderator, the roundtable discussion is expected to be even more interesting and helpful for current and potential entrepreneurs.
